Appearance:

Inheriting the majority of her brothers' looks, Kotone has long deep blue hair that stops mid-back and is tied at the ends, her bands are long and messily fall in her eyes – she usually parts them in the middle and tucks the right side behind her ear. Her eyes are a slate grey colour, with the occasional speck of orange.
Her skin is pure white and blemish free, a pale complexion complimenting her twilight hair. Her facial features are warm and gentle, portraying her innocence. Her build is that of a normal young woman, with the exception of ample curves and a rather large chest.
She wears the standard Shinigami uniform, except for a slight modification which is a rusty orange ribbon tied around her waist instead of the traditional white obi sash.

Personality:

Kotone is a very determined individual. She always strives to complete a task/mission set for her, as to not let anyone down - this also makes her a perfectionist and is always trying to perfect her skills. Determined or not, Kotone has a tendency to sleep in and is constantly late for meetings and training sessions. She isn't lazy at all, she just has very bad time-keeping. She's optimistic and if something bad happens she won't be defeated; she will always look for an alternative route if she's lost, she will get back up if she's knocked down – she won't give up. When it comes to feelings, Kotone can't handle them very well and she can easily become jealous, which can make her turn quite bitter and selfish. Much like her older brother, Kotone is an extremely caring person and will help anyone in need no matter who they are. But people can take advantage of her helpful nature by persuading her to do things that she wouldn't normally do, such as drinking. Kotone is a very bad drunk as she can't handle her drink, when she's drunk she is very mouthy and will often wake up regretting the night before.

Powers & Abilities:

Reiatsu: Being a seated officer, Kotone has a decent amount of reiatsu which is pastel orange in colour.

Zanjutsu (Swordsmanship):  Kotone enjoys using her zanpakuto in combat and excels in the art of Zanjutsu.

Hohō: (Shunpo) Kotone is very skilled with her Shunpo and can very easily catch up to her Captain and Vice Captain.

Weaknesses:

Kidō: Kotone's Kidō is pretty bad. The most basic spells is the best she can do.

Hakuda (Hand-to-Hand Combat): Her Hakuda isn't too bad, but if she wants to win a fight she will use her Zanpakutō instead.

Zanpakutō:

In it's unreleased state, it resembles a normal katana. The hilt it rusty orange in colour, matching the sheath and the tsuba is semi-circular shaped.

Shikai:
The release command for Tsubasa no Otome is Sing (Utau; 歌う)

When in it's Shikai state, Tsubasa no Otome takes the form of a semicircular, medieval harp - the curved side can also be used as a blade.

Shikai Abilities:

Siren's Song (Sairen no Uta; サイレンの歌): Kotone plays a short melody on Tsubasa no Otome which creates a mist that, if inhaled, distorts the vision – giving Kotone the chance to attack her opponent.

Wall of Purity (Jundo no Kabe; 純度の壁): Kotone lets go of Tsubasa no Otome letting it float in place. Upon calling out the name of the attack, a spherical protective shield forms around Kotone. The shield can deflect most attacks, depending on strength.

Birds of Symphony (Kōkyō no Tori; 交響の鳥): Kotone calls out the name of the attack, holding Tsubasa no Otome flat out in front of her – blade facing her opponent. With a swing of her blade, she can send bursts of bird-shaped reiatsu at her opponent – much like Kidō.

Trivia:

Kotone is a very bad drunk and can't hold her liquor at all, she often embarrasses herself and has to be carried back to her division barracks.
